SPF (smells pretty fantastic)

I FREAKING LOVE the smell of sunscreen. I love it so much. I wear it as lotion, I put a dab of it under my nose to cheer me up, I could eat it if it was edible. It is by far my favorite smell in the world. I think what draws me too it so much is that it is an instant flashback of me doing something fun. Sunscreen directly ties my memory to me being outside for prolonged time periods. (camping, beaches, vacation, skiing, snowboarding, boating, swimming...) The flashback I get the most is of being a little kid at the beach playing with my sister in California. I instantly get my mood uplifted when I smell it. Also, it is a good idea to always have it. It keeps you looking young, the harmful rays away, and you don't end up looking like a lobster when playing in the sun.

What is your favorite smell? And what does it remind you of? Any specific memory?

  5. Oh my gosh--that is the best acronym conversion.. SMELLS PRETTY FANTASTIC! Indeed! Suncreen reminds me of you. Every time. So naturally I love it.

    Some of my favorite smells:
*vanilla hand soap (reminds me of living in London)
*the smell after it rains. it's just good. doesn't remind me of a thing.
    *same with fresh cut grass.
*toast. but not burnt toast. perfectly cooked toast. reminds me of mornings when i was a kid.

Also, whenever I smell dog paws they DO smell like popcorn. You taught me that.

    LOVE YOU!

  6. Water babies smells sooo good!

Other smells I love: dry desert washes- there's some plant there that smells amazing, onions cooking, anything baking, purple roses-they are more fragrant than many others.

By the way, I will have a post up on my blog (in excruciating detail) about why we need to wear a shit ton of sunscreen- you'll want to catch that. I got read the riot act from my derm and now the world gets to suffer thru a post about it!
